It seats comfortably and can accommodate two persons up to 300 pounds total weight. The height is perfect for an adult to sit upright comfortably and can be used by children,as well, because it is easier to climb upon. The assembly was made difficult because the instructions were not as clearly defined. Oftentimes, written instructions are more accommodating than pictures, especially considering the uniqueness of the assembly of this product. I’m very pleased with the ottomans quality & how close it matches our couch in fabric which was one of the main reasons I went with this style. The amount of storage it offers is fantastic! We were able to fit a sizable amount of family games inside but it would be a great place to tuck away throw blankets & pillows too. We’re using it as an extension to our sofa to create a chaise on one end for another more comfortable seating option. The top is quite firm which makes it possible for a tray to be placed on top if you plan to use it as a coffee table also. The legs were a cinch to install in mere minutes. This ottoman is absolutely amazing. I love the size 30”x37”. I love the lift top with hydraulic hinges, it can fit many blankets andor pillows. My daughter wants to he closed inside, keep telling her no but she keeps arguing that it has air holes in the bottom.
