Assembly was a little tricky because the leaf did not align with the pre-drilled holes. Moving the hardware fixed this. The pedestal for the table to sit on is attractive and easy enough to put together if you turn it sideways and not straight up and down, the top was easy to assemble, but there seems to be less than perfection in the adjoining pieces of the two table tops and whatever I tried, I could not get the entire length to close completely however, it’s still beautiful. We put a runner down the length of the seam in the two tops and you can’t see it and it feels really strong and sturdy and as attractive and easy enough to assemble if you have some Mechanical ability that’s all.. Beautiful dining table for a small space! For the price, this table far exceeded my expectations. It is solid wood and high quality with a lovely, smooth finish. Mine arrived well-packaged and with no imperfections. I got the linen white and it is very creamy - moreso than just off-white.
