Fairly simple assembly, sturdy, good quality product. The only thing that would put this product over the top is having the pit assembly with it instead of having to purchase separately. We got this for a patio in our mountain home and I'm honestly very pleased with it. Set-up was fast, quality good and overall I think it was a good solution and value. The glass surround was nice, the box for the propane tank OK and overall the design is great for tighter spaces. The igniter and burner seemed to be sensitive to having fire glass on top of the ring (needed to be exposed a bit) and the connection between the propane source and fitting (I needed to remove so I could thread the hose under the deck) didn't have any sealant tape and was torqued extremely tight but these are quibbles. Well, I gave this fire pit three out of five stars because of the quality and how it needs to be put together was kind of difficult. The screws didn’t seem to be long enough and they didn’t all lineup. There are no pre-drill holes in the bottom section to attach the top to the sides , I did love the size of it. It does have water holes in the bottom for drainage, the legs were solid and it did come with a dent in the side of it, which we tried to straighten out I love the top that it can turn into a table. I've had this fire pit for several years now. I will say, it's held up well for all the abuse I've given it! Some very big, hot fires. I use it for yard/tree debris, and the occasional, sit around the fire with a glass or two of wine. It's been left out in the rain and snow and none the worse for it. My only complaint is the design cut into the metal. A few more connections would have made it better. Some of the deer/antlers have warped, probably from the heat, and are leaning out.
