This table is about 4 inches larger than a basic card table. The size is so much more comfortable to play games on, especially Mahjong. Even using it for added space dinner guests is perfect. Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. Sturdy, does what I need it to, folds away to a nice square. That being, there’s no way to have it be tall enough with a folding leg design unless either the legs are telescoping or the legs have a removable post, as these do.
