This is a really nice set for a smaller area which we have. The only thing I don’t care for is that the chairs don’t fit completely under the table. Pros: very sturdy and the chairs are heavy enough they wouldn't easily tip. Great height. Cons: directions were misleading. You need more than a screwdriver to assemble the chairs! My husband ended up using a vice to hold everything in place and a drill to start the holes from the chair braces into the legs, since they weren't there. I’m in love with this table! It’s beautiful and solid construction. We chose the 36” round counter height table for our small bay window nook area in our kitchen and it fits beautifully and really compliments our kitchen space. One thing to note, and it doesn’t bother me but it could bother others, even after the table is assembled and all hardware is tightened the tabletop still has a little bit of looseness. The pedestal for the table to sit on is attractive and easy enough to put together if you turn it sideways and not straight up and down, the top was easy to assemble, but there seems to be less than perfection in the adjoining pieces of the two table tops and whatever I tried, I could not get the entire length to close completely however, it’s still beautiful. We put a runner down the length of the seam in the two tops and you can’t see it and it feels really strong and sturdy and as attractive and easy enough to assemble if you have some Mechanical ability that’s all..
