Our teak floor mats are made from plantation teak wood. It is a generously sized square making it perfect for a regular-sized shower or bathroom floor. Teak is the most durable and suitable type of wood for damp and wet bathroom floors. Excellent also for an outdoor garden area or entry doorway.

HAPPY In general a nice shower base. Came in great packaging with good protection and no damage. One thing that could be improved is to put a thin plastic protective film on it. This is needed until it is completely installed along with the walls around it. The only long term concern I have is the lip edges on 3 sides are not integral to the base and have to be sealed with silicone and attached with screws. Incredibly impressed with the quality finish of these! Little pricey but that’s typical with teak it makes such an impact. I bought (4) pieces for this shower modified them to fit nicely together. Just need to sand the edges by hand to smooth out the cuts for no splinters. Especially helpful for a shallow sloped shower floor that has a little bit of standing water on full blast.
