Our teak floor mats are made from plantation teak wood. It is a generously sized square making it perfect for a regular-sized shower or bathroom floor. Teak is the most durable and suitable type of wood for damp and wet bathroom floors. Excellent also for an outdoor garden area or entry doorway.

HAPPY In general a nice shower base. Came in great packaging with good protection and no damage. One thing that could be improved is to put a thin plastic protective film on it. This is needed until it is completely installed along with the walls around it. The only long term concern I have is the lip edges on 3 sides are not integral to the base and have to be sealed with silicone and attached with screws. Incredibly impressed with the quality finish of these! Little pricey but that’s typical with teak it makes such an impact. I bought (4) pieces for this shower modified them to fit nicely together. Just need to sand the edges by hand to smooth out the cuts for no splinters. Especially helpful for a shallow sloped shower floor that has a little bit of standing water on full blast. Really sturdy shower base. I would buy again. I thought the pressure-fit drain would be handy, but my plumber refused to use it because he said they can cause problems. So that wasn't much of a value. But overall a great product. Just make sure to specify where you want the drain. When they asked, I said it didn't really matter, because I was plumbing a new drain to it. But I said, "Well, just put it in the center." But maybe because I hadn't specified that on the order, they sent the drain in the rear center, as shown. And it barely worked, because there was a joist super close!
