This circular rubber mat is made from a combination of vulcanized and natural rubber materials. Since both raw ingredients are of the highest quality, this rubber mat will exhibit excellent durability when used indoors or outdoors. Being a vulcanized (vulcanization is a process of cross-linking rubber molecules chemically) rubber product, this rubber mat will not shed or crumb up. It is a one-piece molded circular rubber floor mat. This rubber mat is 9mm thick (just under 3/8-inch which is 9.5mm). The diameter of the rubber mat is 4 feet or 48-inches. This is a low maintenance product that is very easy to clean with most household tools and cleaning agents. For best results, simply use a wet cloth or mop along with simple commercial cleaning soap. This rubber mat is waterproof and when moisture or liquids are left on the surface, they will not get through to the bottom. This will protect your subfloors from the damaging effects of water. The surface pattern (which is comprised of wide ridges and valleys) is more prone to trapping and cleaning debris and liquids from heavy foot traffic while maximizing the ease of cleaning and comfort. Wide Rib Corrugated Rubber is designed for light to medium foot traffic where traction and increased safety are needed and performs especially well in transient or temporary applications (e.g. wet aisle ways, catered parties, temporary walkways, etc...). The fabric base finish adds subsurface traction, keeping the runner's bottom surface secure to the floor. Since this product is made from virgin SBR it creates a completely watertight surface, offers moderate chemical resistance, and can be cleaned with most common household cleaners. Strong, highly caustic cleaning solutions (e.g. bleach) are not recommended. The lengthwise running corrugations inherently direct foot traffic as well as maintain a level of safety that is unmatchable by other runner products.
