This sink is exactly as advertised. It is beautiful and seems to be good quality. It installed easily and it functions well. It was important to have the small side on the left with the garbage disposal where we prepare our meals and to have the larger side on the right beside the dishwasher and the dishes cupboard. But it also offers function: the large single bowl ensures maximum workspace for cleaning bulky or oversized dishes. Our ultra-durable and dense fireclay is fired up to 2100°F and protected with our proprietary finish that safeguards and adds strength.

An attractive sink at a good price. This is a fireclay sink, which means it is fired at a lower temperature than a porcelain sink, but at a higher temperature than a ceramic sink. Higher temps increase hardness and durability. This becomes apparent as this sink will stain if left soiled overnight, unlike a porcelain sink which you can rinse and wipe clean. It is not a big deal as it does come clean with some bleach cleaner and a sponge. I am happy overall. Note: I bought a sturdy stainless steel sink grid, not included, to protect the bottom from nicks and scratches (~$50), which I recommend. Can be used as a trivet or a cooling rack as well..
