We ordered two of these for our western windows. The kitchen could get up to 104°, however, after installing these, we don’t have a problem with that anymore. The quality of the awning seems very good and it is attractive. I would agree with all of the reviews I read about how hard it was to assemble. This a great awning at this price point, even my electrician son was impressed as he he was expecting troubles. To be fair, it is not easy to install. It took three adult men on ladders to put it up and a great deal of finagling before that.
