This chair is perfect for my space in my 1 bedroom apartment. It's nice to have another option for a guest to sleep with it's sleeper component. Some said the cushion wasn't super comfortable but I think it's fine. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the under part that comes out to make it either a recliner chair or a bed doesn't have anywhere to lock to the chair, so if you move a certain way, it can start wheeling away from the chair. Beautiful look and color of chair! Traditional style and lines. However I think there is a flaw in the design. Others said in reviews that it was a very deep chair. The bottom cushion is very firm, almost overstuffed and the back cushion is very soft. So when you sit down, you create an opening between the top cushion and bottom cushion of at least 1-2 inches. You can touch the back wood of the chair with your fingers. My low back was not supported at all then. Tried adding a small pillow and that made it somewhat better. Very deep seat which is nice if you’re putting your feet up, but otherwise my feet did not touch the ground (5 ft 6 in). This oversized chair was the perfect size for my alcove and the color is nice and neutral. The one bracket was a little bent but fixed easily with a mallet. Some of the cushions were packed inside the back part of the chair and were hard to pull out. A screw needed to be removed before pulling the cushions otherwise it wouldve torn the fabric pulling it out. I wish there was a fabric flap that could be attached to cover up the space where the cushions were packed because I imagine dirt and debris are going to get caught up inside. Very good for flat-pack furniture. All the parts were packed and marked well. The instructions were clear (although I didn’t match the sides of the ottoman correctly for the lift mechanism and had to redo them—totally my error). I absolutely love this chair. It was one of those purchases I hoped would look good online, but it’s even better in person. The green fabric has a beautiful texture with subtle variation throughout, and the warm wood frame gives it that timeless, mid-century look without feeling trendy. It immediately elevated the room and looks far more expensive than it actually is. The first thing I noticed was how substantial it feels. This isn’t one of those lightweight accent chairs that slides across the floor every time you sit down. It’s heavy, solid, and feels extremely well made. Once it’s in place, it stays put. The wood legs and frame are sturdy, and everything feels well constructed with no wobbling or creaking. Comfort was another pleasant surprise. Accent chairs often sacrifice comfort for style, but this one manages to deliver both. The seat cushion is supportive without being overly firm, the back provides great support, and the angled arms are comfortable whether you’re reading, visiting with friends, or just relaxing for a while. I’ve found myself choosing this chair over the couch more than once. Delivery did take longer than expected, so if you’re ordering it, plan to be patient. That said, it was worth the wait. White glove delivery and placement were included, which made the experience so much easier. I didn’t have to wrestle with a heavy box or figure out assembly on my own. They brought it inside, placed it exactly where I wanted it, and that alone was a huge bonus. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Beautiful look and color of chair! Traditional style and lines. However I think there is a flaw in the design. Others said in reviews that it was a very deep chair. The bottom cushion is very firm, almost overstuffed and the back cushion is very soft. So when you sit down, you create an opening between the top cushion and bottom cushion of at least 1-2 inches. You can touch the back wood of the chair with your fingers. My low back was not supported at all then. Tried adding a small pillow and that made it somewhat better. Very deep seat which is nice if you’re putting your feet up, but otherwise my feet did not touch the ground (5 ft 6 in).
