Best feeling shower ever! I felt this “PowderRain” shower head at a local supplier showroom and fell in love with it. The price here is ALOT lower! My plumber was impressed with the high quality parts. Don’t position the rain shower head too high above your head or the water will not be the right force and will cool down before it gets to you. About 12-15” I think is ideal. Found this out the hard way. Iwanted it tall enough for my husband, but we installed it too high to be optimal. The settings on the handheld shower wand are nice. There are three -one that has more force for rinsing out shampoo, and another with a spiral massage, as well as the same powder rain as the wall mounted shower head. It feels like getting soaked with a soft rain. More of a relaxing sensory experience which is why the other stronger setting on the handle shower is useful. The wall rod adjusts the height of the handwand easily and can be used as a separate overhead shower as well. I purchased the brushed nickel and the wall controller does get water spots so must be cleaned accordingly. (The grab bars in my picture were purchased separately and are not included in this kit). Starting with the simplicity of a square or rectangle, the collection utilizes geometric forms to their full potential.

We have had this installed for less than a year and despite only probably using it 20-40 times, the plastic extension in the valve has ground down and now I am needing to replace it as it's stuck on one setting. If Grohe offered brass extensions I would buy one but unfortunately you are stuck with a plastic one. Plan to need to learn to replace it yourself (not too difficult but a pain if you have any caulking around the baseplate as it has to be scraped and redone each time.
