I received 2 boxes for 4 chairs. One box was perfectly fine, the other was beat up. Missing 4 screws (2 I found in the bottom of the box, the other 2 I had to use the extras) and one of the foot rests was totally crooked. I don’t care enough/have the time to reach out to get a replacement, so just leaving as is. I definitely wouldn’t call this material “leather”. It’s more like a microfiber fabric. Hopefully it cleans well because that’s one of the reasons I specifically got these- We have 2 kids so leather is easy to clean… microfiber, not so much. The set of replacement bar stools was in perfect condition! I love the chairs, but I will admit that I have to get used to the fact that they do not automatically return to their original position when you stand up! However, the first set of chairs I received were obviously returned by a previous customer; they had been partially unwrapped with hardware removed and loose in the box, and there was a large dent in the back of one of the chairs. In addition, the stain on both seats was not applied correctly and visibly damaged. Well, im sorry to say that the stool didn't function after i put it together. I pushed the lever and the seat went to its highest point snd wouldn't adjust down to the level i needed. Im trying to get advice on it or will try to replace it. Addendum. My brother read somewhere to turn the stool upside down and place it near heat overnight and i did that and apparently the lubricant inside the tube melted because i was able to adjust the seat down to a ht i wanted so now the seat is satisfactory, so i give it 4 stars for good price and looks minus 1 stuar for this glitch..
