[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this drain for a new bathroom remodel to add to a custom sized shower. I am very happy with the quality and look of it. Installation was a bit tricky as this was the first custom shower drain I have installed but I was able to figure it out. Once installed this drain is awesome. The large water collection area prevents any kind of pooling and has a luxurious feel about it. Ella’s Royal is vacuum formed from a solid, long-lasting acrylic sheet. Under the shell is a stainless steel frame reinforced with multiple fiberglass mesh and gelcoat layers. The Royal’s main feature is the U-shape door made from custom brushed stainless steel with a frosted tempered glass window to give the bathtub a contemporary look. The 5-Piece fast-fill (18GPM based on plumbing conditions) faucet has: 2 temperature levers, a diverter lever, a mounted faucet and a pull out multi-functional hand shower. The Royal also comes with Ella's Dual Drain Technology- the fastest gravity driven drain in the industry. It consists of two 2” gravity driven drains with four 2” outlets, 2 overflows and 2 openers. The Hydro Massage System includes: a hydro pump with an in-line water heater, eco-friendly ozone sterilization system, an intensity dial, and strategically positioned hydro jets for a targeted, effective massage. The in-line water heater and ozone sterilization automatically engage when the hydro massage is turned on.
