I gave this order 2 star because the order was cancelled without notifying me. I called customer service and they told me the item was cancelled because the company didn’t deliver to Canada. Customer service said they would try reordering. I did finally received the item but it was a substitute. The log grate was several inches smaller and the bottom mess designed to hole the charcoal was missing. I called customer service to informed them that I had received the wrong item. They said the other item is not available but they can order the bottom part separately. It’s been several months since I made the original order and I’m still waiting for the bottom part to arrive. Wayfair sent me a $10 gift card for future purchases which will expire in February. I didn’t really care about the small compensation, I would have preferred getting the original order which was worth over $100.00 more than the substitute. Wayfair did offer a full refund which Is why I gave it a 2 star review, but receiving a smaller log grate was better than no grate.. Michael. Manotick, ON. Mon Dec 11 2023

This round, steel fire grate for fire pit is the best device to keep wood sitting comfortably in a fire pit bowl while providing convenient and better airflow to keep the fire pit wood burning longer. These firewood grates are used to lift wood off the bottom of the fire pit for better airflow and easy burning. Note, never cook food directly on the grate. However, it is great to use with pots and pans over the fire. A separate cooking grill should be used for barbecuing meat or other foods that need to be placed directly on a cooking surface.
