This is a beautiful piece of office furniture. Looks very good. Took about 3 hours to put together. If you are not good with reading instructions fully get help. It's somewhat strong, but I would only use it for hanging file folders. The bottoms of the draws are made with some sort of hardboard and the weight is not sufficient to hold much of anything else in my opinion. They are just slid into slots on the bottom. Ordered 2 at once. One arrived from New Jersey (?) in perfect condition, but the second shipped from TX never arrived. Customer service has been perfectly helpful for all FIVE (?) calls. A replacement (from TX) was ordered and arrived not boxed with corner protectors/top and bottom cardboard pieces completely damaged and unusable. A second replacement came (from TX) and arrived in even worse condition (both tops had screws missing and screw holes stripped so won't stay on with screws provided, cracks on all sides, dents, etc.). I asked for a return label so whomever can inspect and see how badly damaged they are coming from TX. Third replacement sent from New Jersey or maybe Virginia- I cannot remember. Arrived in perfect condition like the first did. Customer service could not be better, but I'd call to order this piece with customer service and beg that it comes NOT from Texas. Love the two working ones and recommend 100%... again, if not arriving from Texas! I'm sharing damaged photos of last one sent, but not of two we kept, b/c they fit description perfectly.. Christina. The 2 drawer file cabinet is very nice, sturdy and has ample file space. The only problem is the rails don’t stay put so the files fall off or get caught when you try close the drawer. Looks great, is sturdy, and holds 3-4 Banker Boxes of files. I wish the Washington Cherry finish was a bit lighter in color - but it is still pretty. Clear instructions. I did not expect much from this file cabinet as I was unboxing the pieces and separating them. The particle board is a lower grade, and the instructions were very poorly written. As the project progressed to the finished product, I was more than pleasantly surprised and pleased. It turned out that this is a very nice 2-drawer file cabinet that definitely serves the purpose. The wood grain veneer is very nice looking and the stay-closed file drawer slides are a bonus. It comes with heavy duty plastic file dividers and guides. This cabinet is exactly what I have been looking for. Its not too big, but its definitely not too small, and it locks. Just wish I wasnt in so many pieces.
