We had it professionally installed, but our electrician didn't have too hard a time of it (though it is heavy and took 2 sets of hands at one point). Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design.
