Love this area rug, purchased it along with a coordinating runner. Our den has wall-to-wall gray carpeting but we hate it, so until we replace the flooring with hardwood, we wanted area rugs to bring much needed contrast to the room. The colors within the area rugs are subtle but they work with our current decor. Colors in the rugs I purchased are best described as both smokey and light grays, cream, beige and a nice cognac/nutmeg brown (or bronze.) Of note, the two long edges of the larger area rug are wrapped/stitched, but the two shorter edges are slightly frayed, they give off a very subtle fringe look. (Maybe about 1/4” long, it’s a tiny amount to look rustic, it’s definitely not a long fringe.) The long runner does not have a fringe on its two shorter edges, it is completely wrapped on all sides. I would definitely recommend either, the rugs are identical in color and pattern and are soft, they seem sturdy for wear, but they’re obviously not as thick as a wool rug.. Jennifer. For the price it’s good. I worry about the rubber underneath melting onto my hardwood floors so I’m not going to keep it. I get a ton of light and warmth where that rug would be. Also with anything you buy here you have to pay return shipping and for this it’s about 25. So that’s 25 in the hole plus gas and my time. And it’s heavy so you gotta haul it to a Fed ex. So be very sure when you guy a rug! This one is the lighter one!! Also the material is a bit itchy so if you walk on it barefoot not a vibe.
