It took almost 2 days to inflate to full 6 inches due to corners being slanted. The mattress has been I guess compressed since manufacturing date in 2024, so about 1-2 years but it’s still puffing up nicely. I didn’t notice any odor at all. One of the best mattresses I’ve ever owned! It arrived quickly and well packaged. Once we opened up the wrapping, it expanded really quickly.
