This is a solid piece and very heavy. Top weighs about 100 lbs on its own. Base is probably close to the same. I had free white glove delivery, but it would be easy to assemble with two pieces and just the screws to connect them. Picture shows 3 of the 4 chairs that I bought from Wayfair also. It’s a very high quality table that was more expensive than other similar small tulip tables. Easy to assemble with no extra tools. Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. Everything was exactly as shown in the picture and it works out perfectly in a small unit. As I am 70 years old, it did take me one hour to put it together. But I did it myself!. Hazel. Sun City, AZ.
