Installation is quick and easy. On the downspout, simply drill a hole with the included hole saw, then insert the rubber rain catch. The rain catch design allows the collection of water as it runs down the walls of your downspout while it filters out any leafy debris. Most rain barrels on the market don't fully utilize the water they hold because the spigot is located about halfway up the barrel. This is to allow buckets to be filled but leaves about a quarter of the water behind. And this remaining water is standing which can be hazardous. Barrels with optimally located spigots don't allow room for buckets and leave only hoses as the draining option. I ordered 2 sizes of rain barrels and stands to match from same company. They changed shade of color somewhere along the line so not everything matched. Manufacturer told me to keep stands or donate which was nice since then I didnt have to package up and send back. Maybe they shouldve changed color name to new color so this wont happen to others.
