These lights are perfect for my needs. Elegant design, warm and bright diffused light, and long battery life per charge with solar or USB-C backup. Love them. One heads-up: the instructions never explain how to activate the automatic dusk-to-dawn mode. The feature is there. There's an integrated twilight sensor built right in, but Rosendahl leaves you to figure it out yourself. Customer service told me the fix: hold the power button for a few seconds until the light flashes, and you're in auto mode. Works perfectly once you know. Highly recommend. So I bought all three versions of the air balloon, solar lantern, this being the rainbow version. I believe this is a much newer model than the other ones as it has a light that goes down into the basket as opposed to the other ones. This one also came in more modern Styrofoam that doesn’t fall apart with little pieces of it all over your house static electricity stuck to your walls forever. These appear to be nicely made, and I think it will last at least one season or maybe two. It’s raining so I haven’t got to put them out yet, but I’m very excited to see them at night time.. Jeffrey. Nothing compares to the soft light and rustic charm of a kerosene lantern. There is a reason that this product endures; it works! Our lantern is durable and simple, with a large glass globe and a fully adjustable wick.

I tried Keosene with bad results. The flame would not maintain a constant level. I switched to lamp oil and it's run like a champ ever since. Very happy with this purchase. The width of this light is a little to big for some two-person tables, I think. I ordered one for my four-person patio table (a perfect size for that) and one for my taller bistro patio table because I thought the height/size of the bistro table would help it not look out of proportion even though it only seats two people. Fixture is very light weight so I added a few small aquarium rocks at the bottom just to make sure they stay where put. Color seems slightly greyer than the antique bronze described but, on the tables, it looks just fine. Love that it's real metal and that the fixture keeps the light from being too glaring even if you're sitting close to it. Before I ordered, I thought this light was the best option I saw for the price I was willing to pay (too many just looked cheap) and I think that even more now after getting them!. Maggie. They were as bright as I hoped they would be. But they are fairly bright. And you dont need batteries because you just charge in the sun. They are handy to have if the electricity goes out. They dont light up much more than the immediate area so the light doesnt extend much outward. But you do get four so thats a bonus. And they are really cute. Wow, this is a beautiful lantern. Arrived very securely packaged. I found the same item on another (much more expensive) website before I found the exact same thing here at a substantially better price (kicking myself over that one). This lantern is just beautiful in both day and night environments, but especially at night, when the colors reflect on the surface the lantern is sitting on. The solar bulb is bright, allowing for the beautiful reflective design. The thickness of the glass is substantial -- it doesn't feel like it will break easily.
