Winflo carbon filters/charcoal filters are perfectly designed for ductless range hood installation. They are attached to the range hood blower to clean the air before recirculating back into the house. Ductwork is not necessary. Winflo carbon filters are the solution for the kitchens that don't have an exhausting duct option. This carbon filter fits Winflo some wall mount or island range hood. Wanted to upgrade our over the stove microwave and found this LG one. I love the slide out vent option. It really does get rid of steam and oil smoke from the front burners. It will help when we change to a gas range and oven. Other reviews stated issues with the side out function. I see no issues with the durability. Just don’t lean on it or put things on it. Power is amazing and food cooks quickly and evenly. Some others disliked that the screen goes blank until you open the door. I don’t notice this as an issue. You have to open the door to put your food in first. The only time it requires opening is to use the timer function. We are very impressed with the look, features, quality and price. So I actually purchased this Pro unit a year ago and the renovation of our kitchen was taking too long and we went through a lot of contractors but long story short we just installed it last week approximately a year after I purchased and it was literally one of the best purchases for this new kitchen. We purchased a microwave, a mini fridge, new countertops, stove, island lighta and this one was the one that I am getting the most results from. I've had multiple people comment on how great it looks. The greatest comment has come from my very active cooking wife that it does indeed work. We are an Indian household so we cook food that has a very strong sense of smell and with this unit and the power it brings to the table, we can barely smell anything throughout the house.
