The fan is a.little louder than my old one was, but ok. The package arrived safely(extremely well packed) and on time. The only problem we had was removing the knockout, the vent access. It clears out heavy smoke, steam, and cooking odors in mere seconds. Even with that incredible power, it stays surprisingly quiet on the lower settings.
