Suncast has excellent products that last for years, and years. This large deck box was very easy to assemble, is waterproof, and very sturdy. I had one that I purchased over 20 years ago in brown and left it at my previous residence when I moved. It was still in great condition. I expect this new one to last just as long. The box is larger than our old which was plastic. So far it has deterred a bear from opening the metal lid. A bear opened our plastic bin and pulled out a small metal barrel holding bird seed. It took us about three to four hours over the course of two afternoons. I recommend two people during assembly. Once assembled the bin seems very sturdy.
