Couch is extremely well made…all fabric seams are straight and frame is solid. It is firm for seating but not unforgiving or uncomfortable..I feel it will hold up well. Fabric is a blue gray pillow ticking and high quality. I sprayed with Scotchgard but think spills would roll off anyway. Delivery was great: two guys moved my old couch for me then unpacked and put the new one in place. From what I explored at local stores I feel this couch was a good buy!. Nancy Justine. I purchased 2 of these sofas to stage/furnish a lake house project. I loved the fact they were slipcovers & for my space, they were the perfect size. I was able to put them (both) together by myself in a couple hours so that was a plus as well! They are not the most 'soft' sofas I've ever owned but maybe with time they'll soften.
