This product is crafted from Tulip Poplar and comes unfinished and chemical-free. Most of our customers choose to leave the wood unfinished, but we do provide finishing instructions for staining or painting.

I search for a while for a bed frame that would fit in my sunroom and work with my hide a bed mattress. The hide a bed couch was old but mattress is fairly new. This option made it so I could still use my mattress. This is a full size mattress and fits its perfectly. I love that it has 3 different options of being a couch, lounger and a bed. So easy to put together even by yourself--only need to attach the arm rests and legs. No tools needed as.the screws and hex key are provided. The hardest part was taking it out of the box (or in my case, ripping the box away from the couch). As a couch, it feels great if you like stiffer support, like I do. If youre looking for a cloud to sit on, this aint it. Similarly the bed portion is kinda of stiff for sleeping but its easily solved by a mattress topper. Its super easy to fold and unfold, but mine didnt come with directions, so here are some tips. To flatten it to a bed, unfold the seat to flat first. Then unzip the pockets in the back of the backrest and unbend the legs for the backrest. After, gently pull the backrest forward first (like the backseat of your car when youre trying to get to your trunk from the inside of your car) and then push it all the way back to the floor. If you want to recline, you have to pull it up to the desired angle from the flat position. Note, the back has a huge exposed zipper (see pic) so if you dont put it against a wall, youll probably want a throw blanket or something else to hide it. Fair warning, it seems smaller than a twin in terms of width so larger guests and guests who roll in their sleep may feel uncomfortable with the width. This sofa bed is genuinely amazing and absolute perfection once you finally get it together. It is super comfortable, looks fantastic in the space, and the built-in USB and Type-C ports, side table, and storage armrests make it an absolute game changer for functionality. The side table did arrive chipped twice, but customer service has been wonderful, kind, and extremely prompt about sending out replacements. Fair warning on the assembly side of things because you will want to bring your patience the instructions are horrific and none of the parts are marked, so setup turns into a bit of a guessing game. This is far larger than I expected it to be. Not in a bad way... and I'm sure the description has the measurements to it and I overlooked it. The back just sits up really high, but it works. The teal of the mattress is a beautiful, deep, rich color. It is a heavy piece of furniture and takes several hours to put together.
