I am shocked and delighted!! I had no idea what to expect, but I made dinner in my Lekue Steam Cooker. I sliced a potatoe, added olive oil and seasoning and a splash of water. Then I precooked it for 4 minutes. Then I placed a 4 oz frozen salmon fillet on top of the potatoes. Seasoned it and put it back in the microwave for 4 minutes. I checked it at 2.5 minutes and it was already done. Salmon was cooked perfectly...moist, full of flavor and literally falling apart. The potatoes were beautifully cooked as well. I am so excited...this method was better (and faster) than my air fryer!!. Robin. Buffalo, New York. Wed Aug 20 2025

I love this little steamer! It cooks veggies perfectly. I like mine a bit crunchy...not like they have already been chewed, and this steamer cooks them just the way I like them. Of course you can steam veggies longer than I like. It is so easy to use and clean. Not much cleaning is required. I strongly recommend this for a quick way to steam anything you liked steamed. I haven't tried fish, but plan to tonight. I believe you can even cook rice in the main pot, without the steam basket. ai will also try tonight.. Robin. Beaverton, OR. Sat Oct 03 2026
