We used these stairs to access a 5th-wheel RV, and they are exactly the right size for what we needed. They came well packaged and were easy to assemble; however, I definitely think it was a two-person job. One issue (not the fault of the product) is that the handrail interfered with where our mounted RV hand rail opened, so we had to create a work around, so you might consider that if using these for an RV. Also, although the steps have a raised texture, I wouldn't exactly call them nonslip. Our dog had a very hard time with them until we added outdoor carpet (carpet squares that we cut and mounted with adhesive tape). Overall, they are study and seem to be built to last a long time.. This is great! The ladder is sanded very smooth and soft, no additional sanding required. Ladder is difficult to assemble, as in awkward. You will need someone to hold things and fiddle with it with you. The rail was super easy, and the metal pieces are pretty substantial. My only complaint is that one of the screw heads sheared off, so now I don't have support there, but the hassle of trying to tap it out has prevented me from dealing with it unless I have to.
