I purchased two of these to put them outside in my backyard. I left them in the pot it came with and put them in larger pots with more rocks on top. This outdoor palm tree looks great on our patio and was exactly what we needed for the space. It does not look quite as realistic as the indoor ficus tree we previously purchased from Wayfair, but that was expected since this one is designed for outdoor use. For an exterior setting, it still looks very nice and adds a tropical feel to the area. The size was accurate, setup was simple, and the materials seem durable enough to handle outdoor conditions. Once arranged and fluffed out, it filled the corner space perfectly and added a relaxing resort-style touch to our deck area. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase. Actual palms are notoriously difficult to keep alive. I went through 2 of them before finally deciding to go artificial—one of the best decisions regarding houseplants, especially here in Seattle where there’s limited sunlight a lot of the year. This artificial palm looks so good in my space. It was easy to set up and manipulate. You can arrange exactly the way you want with no issues. It looks very realistic too!
