This is such a great umbrella! It took a little while to assemble, mainly adding sand to the support bags which took 3.5 bags of playground sand. It definitely helps keep things secure but we still lower the umbrella when it gets breezy. The solar lights are such a pleasant add on. All I imagined and more. This umbrella delivers. I went from sadness, thinking the base wouldn’t fit under my table, to elation when I realized you could flip the attachments. They thought of everything. The lights are Solar, which attaches to the top of the umbrella. Don’t miss this, mine almost got thrown out with the trash, cause I didn’t realize the lights were Solar. Each individual light is professionally embedded, which turn on by way of a switch at the end of the umbrella, and provides just the right ambiance. Open, the umbrella covers a large rectangle table that seats 8, with room to spare around the edges. It comes with bags I filled with sand and securely holds the umbrella in place. Do not, I repeat, Do not get the ‘GE Installation’ service with this appliance. Even if you buy an installation kit. The technician will come in, excuse in hand, and will tell you that any dust, or light green on the gas pipe disallows them to service the installation. (When plumbers test for gas leaks upon installation they spray a little water on the line, leading to a light green) Be ready with your own plumber on the day of delivery.
