It takes about 40-45 minutes to cool (0.08 gal each time, the cooling temperature is 46-59℉). Please do not put cold water in the cooling process, otherwise, the cooling time will be prolonged. After the cooling is over, the yellow light goes off, the fan stops running, and the cold water can be discharged.

This brown (not black) water dispenser puts out water, but it seemingly can't keep up with any amount, and it reads as empty after a few seconds. The dispense button needs to be pressed each time this error occurs, defeating the purpose of the device. Worst of all, though, is that a strong plastic smell emanates from the interior. After pumping more than 10 L through it, the water still tasted distinctly like plastic. Again, aside from how it looks, the unit is not at all functional. I love this ice maker! It makes ice very quickly and cubes come out whole instead of in chunks. When I turn it on it makes a batch within minutes. The only downside is it doesn’t hold a lot of ice, so if I need a larger quantity I have a container my freezer that I can fill, also very quickly. At first I was concerned that there is no access to the ice because my old ice maker used to jam up, however, I have had no issues so far. The water dispenser is also a nice feature. It still has a plastic-like taste, but that should go away. The ice has no taste, just clean & clear. One of the major benefits is that it uses a water line which I have an inline filter attached to so there’s no need to fill it up all the time. This water cooler is significantly quieter than the previous one we had (Primo Brand). Whereas it would make a loud noise when when pouring room temperature water this unit makes zero noise. Mind you, we are not using the hot or cold water functionally continuously but only as needed to cut down on our electricity bill. The Avalon self-cleaning bottle less hot/cold water cooler is made with innovation and style. The easy-to-use paddle spouts make it so much more convenient to use. Simply press your cup against the paddle to let the flow of water come out. The machine's highly efficient compressor makes the cold water crisp and ice cold at approximately 47° F without the need of adding ice cubes to your drink. The hot faucet is hot enough to cook one's tea or coffee or any other steaming hot beverage at approximately 185° F. Due to the extremely hot water, we’ve added a child safety lock on the hot water faucet. This water cooler is bottle-less with an NSF-certified activated carbon filter (listed as model Avalon A4FILTER) and a sediment filter (listed as model Avalon A5FILTER) in the cabinet and a water line that can be attached to your water source. The water is taken from your water source and filtered through the filters and then through the machine's hot and cold water tanks. The tanks hold 1 liter of hot water and 3.6 liters of cold water. The filter will purify the tap water eliminating any chlorine, lead, rust, and bacteria. There is also a built-in leak detector to automatically monitor the water flow from the water source into the machine. We have incorporated a self-clean ozone function which will automatically clean the machine’s water tank with the injection of ozone by the press of a switch. The water cooler is UL listed. Setup is easy and the unit can be connected directly to your existing sink water line. All parts necessary for installation are included. The adapter to connect our water cooler tubing to an existing line is 3/8" which will fit most standard water supply lines. The filter and adapter are packaged inside the styrofoam on top of the water cooler inside the box. The dispensing area is 10 x 2.5 x 9.5 inches with 7.5 inches of space below the spouts. This will accommodate most large cups or bottles. There is a removable drip tray at the bottom of the dispensing area to catch any drips or spills. The unit dimensions are 13" x 12" x 41".
