I am in the process of getting a dimmer switch for them because it would be nice to be able to dim them, due to them being in my living room, in case we want a more cozy vibe. Overall I gave this sconce a five-star rating. It looks wonderful and pours out light. The design could have been “plussed-up” if the top and bottom openings were closed with a bit of frosted glass. This would defuse some garish spill light as well as hide the lamplight sources (which one should NEVER ever see!) as well as the unsexy bits and UL label mounted on the backplate.
