I was looking for one chair to replace an older overstuffed chair and a half that used to sit in this corner. On Wayfair, I found this pair of chairs for an amazing price - much less than what one would pay for one chair by itself. I liked the picture and thought I would take a chance on the pair. They arrived in time, were surprising easy to assemble, and much to my amazement were of amazing quality and sturdy - oh so sturdy. Great chair cushion. They are one piece with a tie on either side between the back and seat portion. So far, the elastic strap in the back does appear to hold the back in place (as opposed to more ties). Neither firm nor plush. They were left out when a light raining came through and the rain formed droplets on the cushions and did not soak into the material. I had missed that part of the day the sun reflected and burned the cushion definitely is not a manufacturing issue - just be mindful because the material melts in one sitting in the wrong spot.
