Replaced 2 8 foot flourescent garage ceiling mount lights. Not user friendly with respect to mounting on ceiling where existing wiring penetrates. Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. When we saw this LED fixture it seemed too good to be true. It is the right size to cover the the hole from our old fixtures, is low profile and sleek looking and energy efficient. We replaced the old fixture in my kitchen and I have been just living this new light. The LED is brighter but not as harsh as the old fluorescent lights. It took time to find a light string that would take incandescent bulbs to match the other installed strings. This produce takes both incandescent and the LED it arrives with. If you're connecting to other strings make sure you have matching plugs. This one is two-prong and my others had a three-prong grounded so needed a adaptor to connect them.
