I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. We purchased this for a new home build that had a slide in range in an island. We did not want an exhaust hood that hung down from the ceiling and this one was perfect for a flush mount in the ceiling. It was priced considerably less than other brands that had white glass finishes. There are a couple discoveries we made however. It did not turn on once the power was brought to the new build. We called Awoco and were told to check in the black box under the stainless grill, for a white connection that sometimes is disconnected. That solved the problem and the unit lit up and worked with the remote and the voice commands. Customer service was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what to look for. There is one other thing to be aware of with the voice command, occasionally it picks up what it believes to be a request for action and starts talking, asking for directions. We thought we were hearing voices until we realized it was the exhaust fan talking. I've been very impressed with the FOTILE 30" Slant Vent range hood. It’s extremely efficient at removing smoke and cooking odors, much more powerful than standard models. The glass overhanging the counter is a great feature add too. Downsides: it was very frustrating to install this extremely heavy appliance just to set it up and see that they offered little spacers for the tiny gaps in the back--I didn't get to use them because I would've had to pull the range out again completely. I sticker saying "stop! Before install install spacers" would've been nice! Having a baking drawer like kitchenaid offers would be awesome instead of just a warming drawer on the bottom. And lastly. I like that you have to long press the buttons to turn on the elements so children wouldn’t accidentally turn on an element. This range hood is very nice looking. Assembly was easy. It took a little time to remove the protective plastic from the surfaces, but still well worth it. I love the ability to adjust the light and fan settings. The ability to use hand gestures is also a plus.
