We purchased this for a new home build that had a slide in range in an island. We did not want an exhaust hood that hung down from the ceiling and this one was perfect for a flush mount in the ceiling. It was priced considerably less than other brands that had white glass finishes. There are a couple discoveries we made however. It did not turn on once the power was brought to the new build. We called Awoco and were told to check in the black box under the stainless grill, for a white connection that sometimes is disconnected. That solved the problem and the unit lit up and worked with the remote and the voice commands. Customer service was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what to look for. There is one other thing to be aware of with the voice command, occasionally it picks up what it believes to be a request for action and starts talking, asking for directions. We thought we were hearing voices until we realized it was the exhaust fan talking. This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. The electric cooktop works great and heats food very quickly, but the surface is extremely hot, which is dangerously close to where my grandchildren sit at the counter. You will love the multiple sizes you can choose for the size pot or pan. It boils water fairly quickly. I like that you have to long press the buttons to turn on the elements so children wouldn’t accidentally turn on an element. Blanco makes the best stainless steel sinks. This sink is very roomy and beautiful. If you buy a stainless steel sink it MUST have sound dampening. This range hood is very nice looking. Assembly was easy. It took a little time to remove the protective plastic from the surfaces, but still well worth it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch benchmark induction range is a great piece of hardware. I love how fast it brings water to a boil and how well built it appears to be. The glass overhanging the counter is a great feature add too. Downsides: it was very frustrating to install this extremely heavy appliance just to set it up and see that they offered little spacers for the tiny gaps in the back--I didn't get to use them because I would've had to pull the range out again completely. I sticker saying "stop! Before install install spacers" would've been nice! Having a baking drawer like kitchenaid offers would be awesome instead of just a warming drawer on the bottom. And lastly.
