The Armor SX5000 WB is a PRO-Grade water-based penetrating water-repellent sealer. It penetrates deep into the substrate where it chemically reacts to form a hydrophobic barrier within the pores that reduces surface water absorption by up to 95%. The Armor SX5000 WB is made from high-quality, non-recycled, US-manufactured resins. It is designed for unsealed concrete, brick, pavers, natural stone, and porous masonry. It works entirely below the surface, won’t change the look or color of the substrate, and won’t leave a surface film. By reducing surface water absorption, cracking, spalling, pitting, mold, mildew, algae, staining, and other damage and deterioration caused by surface water absorption will also be reduced.

I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. The recirculation kits performs multi-stage filtration and removes the odor from the gas and smoke that is sucked into the range hood, which removes harmful components and pollutants in the smoke, and effectively solves the problem of using range hoods in houses where the range hood cannot be exhausted. This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. The Ispring ED2000 whole-house electronic water descaler is an innovative, computerized water conditioning system that solves hard water problems without the need for chemicals, salt, or filter cartridges by leaving the minerals in the water and preventing them from forming lime-scale deposits. It requires little maintenance as it does not need the constant salt additions or cartridge replacements that traditional water softening systems require. It’s not the most expensive descaled but so far so good. Puts on a nice light show too. The manual is well written. This appears to be manufactured in Atlanta. Not thrilled about the wall wart power supply and would had preferred an internal version. Edit after a few months, my 20 year old plumbing has been descaling en mass. I replaced my water heater, also 20 years old. The water is coming out with the lime sentiment. It quickly settles. But I’m hoping it finishes. The product obviously works. Smaller than I wanted it will not hold the towels side by side. If your plug is behind the rack there is not enough room for the towels to hang and its a fight to get them on the rack. Also the rack does not heat as well the only area that heats is where the towel is laying across the bar not just touching it.
