Received the GE 65gallon water heater with flexcapacity today (240v model). I did the installation by myself however the GE water heater is heavy. Luckily i got some help from my friend to set the water heater heater in place. HPWH is easy to use and consume little power. Not very noisy, can't hear it in house, but definitely would bother me if my office were in the garage. I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. This review is on the delivery experience not the machine. The delivery team was polite, but the experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. It took roughly 1.5 hours to install a washer and pedestal because they were not familiar with how the pedestal installs. Despite clear issues during setup and their reluctance to take guidance, I ultimately had to determine the correct installation steps myself just to get the job finished. After they left, the washer repeatedly threw an error, which took additional time to troubleshoot only to discover that they had failed to turn the water supply valves on. This added to an already unnecessarily long and difficult process. To make matters worse, their driving on the property was reckless. They drove at an unsafe speed on the driveway and nearly caused a head-on collision with a vehicle exiting the property. Overall this is a very nicely built unit. Heavy duty, all metal construction in the body, spring, and sprayer handle. The on-off handle is easy to use and adjust, and operates smoothly. The hardware and hoses included seem to be nice quality, although I hate when companies use metric on one end (the faucet end) and SAE on the other end (the water line hookup). My only critiques are the following: The sprayer button was NOT intuitive and while it appears to push IN, flicks up/down to change between sprayer modes. The other is that the spring is extremely stiff and therefore doesn't allow the nozzle to go much lower than the holder. The image of the brushed stainless makes the faucet appear much darker than it really is. The photo I posted is of the brushed finish in an IKEA DOMSJO double basin sink. You will also notice the handle is at a 45° angle. I had to install this way because at full-cold the handle hit my backsplash. Love that is has a handle and is on wheels for easy transportation too. Whirlpool has always been a good brand for appliances and it seems they know what they are doing with dehumidifiers too. After 30 days of use it has made a huge difference in the climate of our home.
