This toilet needs to be flushed twice every time. We bought tow of these and had them installed by a plumber. Talked to Kohler and also had them checked a year later by a different plumber and still the same issue. The design of the water inlet to the bowl does not cause a circular motion to form but rather just a roiling which prevents everything from being flushed on the first time. Outside diameter, and it features an overall reach of 2-11/16 inches with a flat, slotted emergency-access knob on the exterior.
