Directions were pretty simple and straightforward. I really wish the lights were brighter. Did not give off as much light as I would have expected. Had a hard time finding a fan the size I wanted but this was it! I wanted a larger size and most were not long enough for my 36" stove width I wanted a good 4" on each end. It looks great. Bit loud on low speed but think it's bcs it's so long. I don't mind. And it does a fantastic job of sucking up garlic or onion smells! Love the sleek look, baffles easy to remove and wash. The mahogany server matches other items. The ideal size of our mahogany server can fit into tight spaces while still providing a lot of storage space. The two doors conceal a storage area with a shelf to help store anything from reams of paper in the office to antique china in the dining room. Great quality construction and pretty mahogany to give a stately appearance.
