I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. Common places to use this siliconized acrylic latex unsanded caulk is against backsplashes in the kitchen, along bathtub surrounds, windows and more. The unsanded tends to be easier to clean because of its smooth surface.

These pads are a sure cure for anything my yorkie can drop onto my very light blue carpet. They work on new spots as well as some older spots that did not shampoo very well. I have a liquid shampoo and shampooer, especially for dogs. but these pads give immediate help for cleaning. Using my shampooer, means I must set it up and mix the cleaning liquid. After which I must clean the machine and put it away after it gets dry. The pad packaging rips open and I step on them with my shoe and leave it for as long as I choose.
