The rectangular tabletop measures 35.43" long, so there's still plenty of room for a tray of snacks or a couple of citronella candles.

This set is cute but the pictures are a bit deceiving if you aren't real good with eyeball sizing. I mean that as I know it's on me but I didn't look at all the measurements. Mostly just length to make sure it fit in our space. It did and it's fine but they were a little shorter and narrower than what the picture makes it seem like. Again that's on me for not really looking at the measurements but I feel the picture was staged in a way that made it look bigger. I really love these chairs. They are sturdy, great quality, and the wood is beautiful. They were also a great price. My only complaint is they are bluish gray and not actually charcoal as pictured and advertised, which is not at all what I was going for. I've added a picture of them against a gray wall in my home.
