Love this file cabinet! It’s stable and sturdy. Not the easiest to assemble, though. If I hadn’t had experience with some of the hardware, I wouldn’t have known what to do. Also had no idea the side rails had to be taken apart for installation - thanks to YouTube for showing me that one. Overall, a quality product but could benefit from better assembly instructions.. Great filing cabinet. The first shipment was damaged. Wayfair was great to replace it but shipping the damaged one back was a bit of a pain. It’s only off one star as it’s not super heavy duty but it does the job!. Amie. Mon Sep 14 2026

Add storage to your home office with the Hitchin 18" 3 Drawer Farmhouse Verticle Filing Cabinet in Walnut. This three drawer filing cabinet is made from durable MDF with a slightly distressed walnut finish for a coastal farmhouse look. Functionality is at the chore with this wooden filing cabinet with full-extension roller glides to access your hanging files. The three drawers have aged black iron-finished handles and frame molding for a classic look to your verticle filing cabinet.

For the price, the cabinet is worth it. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for thick, heavy folders or for everyday use. It is suitable for recordsreportsreceipts that you want to keep but don’t need frequent access to. The cabinet was easy to assemble except for the issue of the drawer glides being installed incorrectly. Fortunately, my husband was able to figure out why and reinstalled the glides properly.. By. Pawling, NY. Thu Oct 22 2026

Absolutely love this cabinet and was easy to assemble with one person.. Kendra. Virginia. Mon Sep 21 2026

Love the space this has as it can store a lot! The bottom drawer doesn’t closeopen easily… this may be a user error as I had to put it together. Otherwise, it’s a great file cabinet!. Anonymous. Wed Oct 07 2026

The dark purple is a great color - file cabinets are fine for the price point. One of the two I ordered has a sizable dent on one corner. It it was to be in a corner or not viewable from two sides, I would be ok with it. However, it is being used to support wood for a desk in a brand new church office and plain to see. Can you send us a new one? I examined the box prior to opening and saw no sign of the dent or I would have refused shipment. Please advise.. Alison. Nantucket, MA. Fri Apr 17 2026

This filing drawer cabinet will absolutely keep your home office machines, paper, files, and suppliers organized!

Now that I have it assembled it’s OK, it seems to be fair quality, looks good, feels solid, and the drawers work smoothly. However, it took hours to assemble and the directions are pictures, often vague. (The only words in print were inadvertently funny). The triangular drawer stop that I think is used to lock the bottom drawer to the top would not allow the top drawer to close so I removed it from the top drawer which I think prevents the bottom drawer from locking but I wasn’t going to fight it and possible break something slamming it or send it back after the long assembly. Fortunately, right now I don’t need to lock it but I wonder how this part could have been designed so badly. I have it closely fitting under a table so tipping isn’t a problem but I can see it could be and especially if you have kids it will need to be attached to something.. Karen. Amissville, VA. Paperwork builds up fastest wherever several people share a space, so this steel cabinet keeps a home office, studio, or reception desk organized without taking over the room. Recessed handles sit flush with the drawer fronts, so the unit slides into a tight aisle or under a counter without snagging sleeves or chair arms, while a powder-coated finish over welded steel wipes clean of fingerprints. Because it ships flat, one person can carry it up a stairwell and assemble it from the fittings packed in the carton. Anchoring hardware ties the loaded cabinet to a wall stud, keeping it steady on uneven floors and around children, and records stay upright and visible instead of piling up across a desk.

I’m really happy with this file cabinet! It was surprisingly easy to put together, and the instructions were clear and very easy to follow from start to finish. Once assembled, it feels sturdy and well made, especially for the price. The drawers open and close smoothly and provide plenty of space for keeping paperwork organized. I also really like that it has a locking option, which is great for storing important or personal documents. Overall, it looks nice, feels like good quality, and is a great addition to a home office. Definitely recommend!. Alicia A.. Texas. Mon Sep 07 2026

I like the concept but it’s very cheap material. If you screw to hard it could break. The legs are made out of plastic. Hopefully it holds all the papers I will need to file. To me, it was easy to assembled.. Karen. Rochelle Park, NJ. Fri Oct 16 2026

I’ve had this small white three-drawer file cabinet for about two years now, and I’m really happy with how well it has held up. It’s still in great condition and looks just as nice as it did when I first got it. The size is perfect for keeping things organized without taking up too much space, and the three drawers hold a surprising amount of items. I’ve used it to store a variety of things, and it has been very useful for keeping everything neat and easy to find. The white color is simple and clean, so it fits nicely with my other furniture and doesn’t look bulky or out of place. The only issue I’ve experienced is that the drawers can be a little difficult to open when they’re filled pretty full. It’s not a major problem, and I’ve found that they work better when they aren’t overloaded. Other than that, I really haven’t had any complaints. After two years of regular use, I’m impressed with the quality and durability. It has held up very well, provides plenty of storage, and still looks great. Overall, it’s been a great addition for keeping my space organized, and I would definitely recommend it.. Kari. US. Wed Aug 19 2026
