Wanted to upgrade our over the stove microwave and found this LG one. I love the slide out vent option. It really does get rid of steam and oil smoke from the front burners. It will help when we change to a gas range and oven. Other reviews stated issues with the side out function. I see no issues with the durability. Just don’t lean on it or put things on it. Power is amazing and food cooks quickly and evenly. Some others disliked that the screen goes blank until you open the door. I don’t notice this as an issue. You have to open the door to put your food in first. The only time it requires opening is to use the timer function. We are very impressed with the look, features, quality and price. Advice: Don't try to use a gas line that's longer than 36" (1m). Both a 3-prong and a 4-prong electrical wire were included. Pretty great especially for the price. Heats up fast. Especially with boost mode on the burners. The knobs are nice and easy to use, yet have locking things that make them hard to accidentally turn on; good combination and harder to design well than it looks. Range included a huge really nice air frying tray that I love use. Smart Functions are optional which is good because I will never connect this or any appliance to my wifi. Cook top has proven durable and easy to clean so far. The interface for the oven and other functions is pretty good. Lots of little things that could be improved: * The largest burner is 11". Weird size. Please try to just make it 12" since that is a common skillet size. * Easy clean seems fairly ineffective. * Air fry mode is ok, but convection bake seemed to get better results for air frying. * The touch interface goes to sleep and needs an extra tap at first which is slightly annoying.
