Best feeling shower ever! I felt this “PowderRain” shower head at a local supplier showroom and fell in love with it. The price here is ALOT lower! My plumber was impressed with the high quality parts. Don’t position the rain shower head too high above your head or the water will not be the right force and will cool down before it gets to you. About 12-15” I think is ideal. Found this out the hard way. Iwanted it tall enough for my husband, but we installed it too high to be optimal. The settings on the handheld shower wand are nice. There are three -one that has more force for rinsing out shampoo, and another with a spiral massage, as well as the same powder rain as the wall mounted shower head. It feels like getting soaked with a soft rain. More of a relaxing sensory experience which is why the other stronger setting on the handle shower is useful. The wall rod adjusts the height of the handwand easily and can be used as a separate overhead shower as well. I purchased the brushed nickel and the wall controller does get water spots so must be cleaned accordingly. (The grab bars in my picture were purchased separately and are not included in this kit). Amazing quality. This console and sink set are a step above the rest. The sink feels and looks higher quality. Very consistent and the underside is very helpful with installation as it provides specific points where the 4 legs sit. The tubing is excellent quality and very easy to install. The leveling bolts could be slightly better looking. Perhaps another solution can be a customizable cover that you can trim to size to cover the leveling hex bolts. Thats is the one tiny oversight. (The only reason for a 4-star rating is due to the plastic hose and handwand. All other aspects are a strong 5-star!) The handheld shower unit came with a plastic hose, which I immediately replaced. I am sure the plastic one would have worked well, but the metal replacement looks much better and will last longer. Update on previous review: We have enjoyed this shower system for 3 months and it has been amazing! The water pressure and flow is excellent - much better than expected. The upper head has 2 settings: rain and typical spray. The rain setting is very soothing and soft. The typical spray setting provides a lot of water at great pressure. As noted above I replaced the plastic hose with stainless steel hose. That has worked well. In addition, I actually replaced the hand wand with a Moen unit and prefer it over the one that came standard. (The Moen unit has additional spray settings that the standard unit lacked) The controls on the system are excellent, allowing temperature control on one stalk and water distribution on the other. I really like the ability to set temperature independent of the "on/off" valve. I also love the surface mounted aspect of the system. Not only is it attactive, but this design will make servicing it much easier should an issue arise. Our plumbers commented on the quality of the unit and how easy it was to install.
