I received this as part of a tried and true program, and this ink is beautiful. It is well packaged/protected with foam and bubble wrap. Blanco makes the best stainless steel sinks. This sink is very roomy and beautiful. If you buy a stainless steel sink it MUST have sound dampening. Beautiful shower but read reviews and watch videos! The shower works perfectly if installed correctly but there are a few steps vital to the installation that are not mentioned. 1. The fittings that go into the plumbing are European and not NPT. They are knuckled and very loose once screwed in. If you try to use plumbers tape the knuckled ridges will tear it off.. You therefore must use pipe sealant (all the reviews describing this step have been taken off, i assume the sites didn't want to promote brands of pipe sealant so I won't include any in the review) or it will leak. Once the sealant is applied you have a few minutes to adjust it properly but it will not move anymore once dry so be careful! 2. The temperature can be adjusted by removing the cap over the thermostat and unscrewing the module. There is a plastic ring with small increments that let you increase the temperature and reposition the module, otherwise you will have a cold shower even if you turn it past the safety zone.. We had this sink installed with our kitchen remodel in June 2018. It was beautiful. However, after 6 months of use, we're very unhappy with the quality. The sink scratches fairly easily. Yes, the manufacturer instructions say to not to this or not do that, clean only following the grain, etc. We’ve owned two other homes with a stainless steel sink and are not using this Elkay sink any different than the others. We never had the scratches on the other sinks that we do with this one and we do follow manufacturers instructions on cleaning and care. Very disappointing.
