Best feeling shower ever! I felt this “PowderRain” shower head at a local supplier showroom and fell in love with it. The price here is ALOT lower! My plumber was impressed with the high quality parts. Don’t position the rain shower head too high above your head or the water will not be the right force and will cool down before it gets to you. About 12-15” I think is ideal. Found this out the hard way. Iwanted it tall enough for my husband, but we installed it too high to be optimal. The settings on the handheld shower wand are nice. There are three -one that has more force for rinsing out shampoo, and another with a spiral massage, as well as the same powder rain as the wall mounted shower head. It feels like getting soaked with a soft rain. More of a relaxing sensory experience which is why the other stronger setting on the handle shower is useful. The wall rod adjusts the height of the handwand easily and can be used as a separate overhead shower as well. I purchased the brushed nickel and the wall controller does get water spots so must be cleaned accordingly. (The grab bars in my picture were purchased separately and are not included in this kit). The template that comes it with is folded so not perfect, definitely needs someone who is knows what they are doing to install it. i haven't pick out my countertop yet so it cannot be installed yet. but i love that it is all rounded and comes with the sink drainer. the inside measures 25 x 16 the outside measure 26 3/4 x 17. (The only reason for a 4-star rating is due to the plastic hose and handwand. All other aspects are a strong 5-star!) The handheld shower unit came with a plastic hose, which I immediately replaced. I am sure the plastic one would have worked well, but the metal replacement looks much better and will last longer. Update on previous review: We have enjoyed this shower system for 3 months and it has been amazing! The water pressure and flow is excellent - much better than expected. The upper head has 2 settings: rain and typical spray. The rain setting is very soothing and soft. The typical spray setting provides a lot of water at great pressure. As noted above I replaced the plastic hose with stainless steel hose. That has worked well. In addition, I actually replaced the hand wand with a Moen unit and prefer it over the one that came standard. (The Moen unit has additional spray settings that the standard unit lacked) The controls on the system are excellent, allowing temperature control on one stalk and water distribution on the other. I really like the ability to set temperature independent of the "on/off" valve. I also love the surface mounted aspect of the system. Not only is it attactive, but this design will make servicing it much easier should an issue arise. Our plumbers commented on the quality of the unit and how easy it was to install. I’m sorry I didn’t install the HydroRail long ago! The shower head is powerful yet gentle, and the handheld unit is convenient & also works well as the main shower head for my young grand child. It can accommodate a wide array of shower configurations without altering in-wall plumbing, making it suitable for both remodels and new construction. This shower column converts your single-outlet showerhead into a two-outlet custom showering experience featuring a rainhead and handshower, and has a slidebar bracket for easy height and angle adjustments to your handshower. For smooth toggling between handshower and rainhead functions, this column features a diverter conveniently located at the base. Shower column only, handshower, hose and rainhead sold separately.

Installed this as a part of my bathroom renovation and I couldn't be happier. It allows me to have a over the head rainshower shower head without having to have to relocate my plumbing into my ceiling. I did have to redo some plumbing to get the shower spout to the correct height for install. The rail attaches to the shower plumbing at the upper bracket, the lower bracket is merely for support. There is a built-in hand-held shower diverter, so you will need to consider the right sized shower hose and hand held shower head. Pros: High-end contemporary design. Solid build.
