I was in search of a free standing tub that had completely straight/square sides versus the many that are sold with curves and angles. I needed this to fit in a corner without leaving spaces between the tub and wall that would either trap water or dust. This was the the one squared tub that I found within my price range, with others being 2-3 times as much for some reason, so I bought it in the only version available at the time (glossy gray). It's here now, I've opened the box to take a look and it is really beautiful and substantial while also being a foot shorter in length than the alcove tub it's replacing (space that I was eager to gain in a small bathroom). I'm really excited to get it installed and will be putting in a fixed glass panel on the non-wall end and a pivoting glass panel door along the exposed side since it will get the most use as a shower. The white version is back in stock and that's the one that I really wanted but I'm obviously going to make the gray work since it's already here.. Tory. Troy, NY. Sun May 12 2024

These are heavier and sturdier than I expected them to be. I have not installed them yet, but the video makes it look simple. It was nice having it all in a kit. I'm not sure the price was any savings. I'm pretty sure it came to a bit more than I feel doing it a la carte would be, but, this way they supply the right stuff up front, so I'm good with it. The tub was a great buy. I highly recommend. This is my family's second tub of a similar style (we bought a slightly smaller one a couple of years ago from Wayfair and loved it, so when we were building a new house, we knew this would be a good choice. Very pleased!. Tara. Tatum, TX. Wed Jun 17 2026

The tubs are built using a proprietary layering technology to reinforce and insulate the tubs far better than other tubs available today. The process starts with a heavy acrylic sheet with a resin and fiberglass mixture backing then a thick layer of real Canadian wood is applied to the tub which is then coated with another layer of the proprietary resin. This gives the tub better heat retention and insulation than other acrylic, gel coat, or steel tub products on the market while giving unparalleled strength and rigidity. The proprietary layered technology insulates the tub rather than absorbing heat from the water like cast iron which saves energy and water by retaining more heat and making the addition of hot water less frequently to maintain a warm bath. The width is perfect for small baths where a tub is desired and is an excellent replacement for existing tubs for remodeling purposes. In many cases, the smaller size allows for replacing an existing shower stall with a full tub to convert your bathroom to a full bath. The heavy acrylic layer provides a high gloss surface that is scratch, fade, and crack resistant providing a clean and attractive appearance through the entire long life of the tub. The vibrant surface of the acrylic tubs cleans up easily with mild soap and water, no scrubbing or harsh chemical cleaners are required. The one-piece molded skirt has a decorative step-down panel for an added classical design feature to enhance the tub appearance. This easy-to-clean nonporous acrylic surface resists the growth of mold, mildew, and mineral deposits providing a safe and hygienic bathing fixture for your family. The tub provides a generous rectangular tub opening and an integral tile flange for a leak-free installation. A woman-owned business creates handmade products that are eco-friendly and manufactured in a certified zero-waste factory in Mission, BC, Canada.
