4000K e26 standard light bulbs are very difficult to find. I believe Wayfair is the only business to offer these for sale. The light is a very bright clean white light. Not like 2300 or 2800K light that's too yellow, or 5000K light that is "operating theater" horrible blue. This Kelvin light color properly illuminates many different colors properly, making the room they're in look great, from wood tones to the colors in fabrics, paints, carpeting, paintings, etc. These bulbs are the best quality illumination available in a standard light bulb.. We love these light bulbs for our exposed bulb fixture where we wanted something oversized but also frosted. These dim really well with our Lutron Diva dimmer switch. We ordered multiple sets with different lumen ratings for different counts of bulbs for different room fixtures. Great light bulb and seamless transition from the old incandescents! I was concerned because I loved the warm glow of the old incandescent bulbs and didn't think an LED bulb could duplicate that. I would've rated higher but after opening the package, the bulbs don't even have any protection other than the individual plastic. Considering that the delivery driver threw the box onto the porch, I'm surprised that none broke.
