Thunder Gray

So, the sink is beautiful and I love the offset drain and the work station features (extra cost but you can have a cutting board, colander, drying board and soaking bowl). However, two separate sinks were delivered with cracks in the corner. One was substantial, and I returned it to Wayfair w/o issue. The second was a small hairline crack that was just forming, and I exchanged it under warranty with Kohler. I got a 3rd sink with no issues, but now I'm scared cracks might develop down the road. Unfortunately the counter was already templated to this sink (which btw you must use the template to make sure the edges are exposed for the accessories), so I just have my fingers crossed. This is the second home I have installed Kohler Riverby sink in because I love it so much! I have had the 30" version of it in my house since 2016 and it still looks like new! Keeping the included rack in the sink keeps it from getting scratched or marked. I needed a smaller sink for a small condominium I own, so I purchased the same sink in this 25" version. Having the drain offset away from the center makes it much easier to place and rinse dishes without spoons or forks dropping straight down into the drain, so I have never had that issue. It is beautiful, sturdy and the best part is how it slightly slopes downward toward the drain, making rinsing and cleaning it much more efficient. Blanco makes the best stainless steel sinks. This sink is very roomy and beautiful. If you buy a stainless steel sink it MUST have sound dampening. Beautiful sink for our retrofit. I do not use the racks because they make it too cumbersome to clean. I get the theory behind the rack it keeps it from getting scratched. However, if you can’t see it anyway what’s the difference The side rack is nice and I used it for the first couple weeks, but they also reduce the amount of sink I had to clean big pans and pots with perfect size perfect depth. Cleans up nice would’ve given it five stars. However, I’m noticing a lot of rust marks and I don’t understand why.  Overall great delivery great service by Wayfare came in a few days.. Garden.
